about
Out of View is a collaborative ‘internet’ band and they released their debut single ‘The Last Race’ in January 2019 and still have never met collectively.
After their debut release, work started on the follow up ‘See me Now’ and all instruments for this song were recorded by each band member independently in France, Australia and Scotland and emailed to Dougie for composing and producing the song before sending to a studio for mixing and mastering.
lyrics
Verse 1
Some.....where....far from here
A face..in….the crowd….I know
Some....where….to call….a home
Some...one to rely on,
Chorus 1
Ah ah ah ah ah ah
Can you see me now,
Run away from you,
Do you see me now, -
Ah ah ah ah -
Ah ah ah ah ah
Verse 2
Some..one…so…close, to me
Near…and yet….so far from here,
A place…un…(un)Known, to me
Some…where to depart from
Chorus 2
Ah ah ah ah ah ah
Can you see me now,
Run away from you
Do you see me now,
Ah ah ah ah ah ah
Can you see me now,
Run away from you
Looking back at you
Ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah
Break Instrumental
Mid 8 Vocals
I know, You know,
You need, to see,
in me, the truth, and you.
There is, a light,
on in, my heart,
for you and me it’s true
Chorus 3
Ah ah ah ah ah ah
Can you see me now,
Run away from you
Do you see me now
Aw aw aw aw aw aw
SEE ME NOW,
Run away from you
Staring back at you
SEE…ME…NOW!
Ah ah ah ah
Outro
You know, I know
The face, of time,
is Smi….ling back….at me
A light….to see, with,
in, the dark..ness
of….my heart
a place;
to call my home
